Spalywood sprl is a Belgian company based near the German border.

From 1988 - when the company was founded - to 1997 we concentrated on providing our clients with advice and training on environmental and forestry issues. Our customer base included private companies, European and South American governments , local communities, development agencies and the EU authorities.

We swiftly realised that good communication is vital to raise public awareness on environmental issues. An efficient way of doing this was film broadcasting.

In 1998 Spalywood developed film production based on high level digital broadcast standards.

Today we combine film-making activity with a continued commitment to environmental and forestry issues. Our continues hands-on approach allows us to keep up our technical know-how and to make films with solid credible content.

Spalywood’s working languages are German, French, English, Spanish and Dutch .

Spalywood controls the complete digital Video production process : planning, production and postproduction.

Our broadcast standard format are DVCpro HD.

Our special subjects include wildlife management, climate change, water quality, environmental awareness, rural development, and forest management .

For particular scientific video equipment we collaborate with the German company Sciencedocu.de

As a complement to our documentary production, we also make corporate and industrial videos.
